This policy explains how [Company legal name] ("we", "us"), the company behind SureMonth, collects and uses personal data when you visit https://suremonth.com, contact us or use the SureMonth service.

1. Who is responsible

The controller of your personal data is [Company legal name], [Registered address], [Country]. Company number: [Registration number]. You can reach us at support@suremonth.com. [If applicable: our data protection officer can be reached at [DPO email].]

2. What we collect

  • Account data: your name, email address, password (stored hashed) and language when you sign up.
  • Workspace data: the content you and your teammates add to the service, and the members, roles and invitations of your workspaces.
  • Form submissions: the details you send through our contact form, demo request form or newsletter sign-up (name, email, company, company size, job title, phone and message), together with your IP address and browser information, used to prevent abuse.
  • Billing data: plan, billing period and invoices. Card and payment details are collected and processed by [Payment provider]; we never see your full card number.
  • Usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, and approximate location derived from your IP address, collected through cookies only when you allow it (see section 5).

3. How we use it

We use personal data to provide and secure the service, answer your requests, send the emails you asked for (such as the newsletter, after you confirm your subscription), bill paid plans, understand how the site is used (with your consent) and meet our legal obligations.

Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on: the performance of our contract with you (providing the service); our legitimate interests (security, answering enquiries, improving the service); your consent (analytics and advertising cookies, the newsletter), which you can withdraw at any time; and legal obligations (accounting and tax records).

5. Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies to run the site, for example to remember your language and your cookie choice. With your consent we also use:

  • Analytics: Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity, to understand which pages are useful.
  • Advertising: Google Ads, Meta and TikTok pixels, to measure our campaigns.

Nothing optional loads until you accept it in the cookie banner. You can change your choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, advertising cookies stay off.

6. Who we share it with

We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our behalf under a contract: hosting ([Hosting provider]), email delivery ([Email provider]), payments ([Payment provider]), spam protection (Google reCAPTCHA), and, if you consent, the analytics and advertising providers listed above. We may disclose data when the law requires it or to protect our rights. We do not sell personal data.

7. International transfers

Some providers process data outside [your country / the European Economic Area]. When they do, we rely on adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses to protect it.

8. How long we keep it

We keep account and workspace data while your account is active and delete it within [number] days after you delete your account or workspace, except where we must keep records longer by law. Form submissions are kept for [number] months. Newsletter subscriptions that are never confirmed are deleted automatically.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, object to or restrict its processing, and withdraw your consent. You can export your data and delete your account from your account settings, or email support@suremonth.com. You also have the right to complain to your data protection authority.

10. Security

We protect data with encryption in transit, access controls based on roles, and logging of important actions. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we will tell you as the law requires.

11. Children

The service is not intended for children under [16], and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new date and, for significant changes, notify account owners by email.

13. Contact
